SURF'S UP SURF LESSONS
Surfing has been a quintessential summer activity for decades, and the shallow waters of Palmetto Dunes are the perfect place to get a handle on the sport! Sign up for surfing lessons with our very own “Surf Dog”, Byron. Lessons are available for kids as young as 6 and focus on the fundamentals of surfing in a safe and fun group environment.
Already familiar with how to hang ten? Rent a surf board and see how many waves you can catch. We’ve got 8- and 9-foot surf boards that are available for daily or weekly rental.
PADDLE ON KAYAKING OR CANOEING

Our 11-mile inland lagoon system is one of the most unique features of Palmetto Dunes. For some outdoor water fun, rent a kayak or canoe and head out for a pleasant and peaceful paddle throughout the lagoon’s languorous twists and turns. Keep your eyes peeled as you paddle for signs of the various wildlife that call the Palmetto Dunes Lagoon home.

Whether you’ve never cast a line or are an avid hobby fisherman, you’re sure to have a blast on a fishing charter with Hilton Head Outfitters.
